Year 6 students have the opportunity to be selected for leadership positions including:
- School Captains and School Vice Captains
- Sport House Captains
- Music Captain
- STEM Captains
- PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning) Captains
Selection Process: School Captains/Vice Captains
- Up to 10 students will be shortlisted for the positions of School Captain and School Vice-Captain. Students are shortlisted based on the following:
- Written response to questions
- Staff and Administration input - Academic / Extra-Curricular achievements
- PBL Gold Tier recognition - this encompasses exceptional behaviour across all settings, maintaining high attendance and punctuality (arriving on time and staying all day), Dress Code and work ethic
- There will be a ballot of students in years 5 and 6, along with staff to seek their input on shortlisted students. Ballots, applications and leadership team input will all be taken into consideration
Selection Process: Music Captain, Sports House Captains, STEM Leaders, PBL Leaders
- Music Captain is selected by the Music Department, in consultation with Class Teachers and Administration.
- Sports House Captains selected by HPE Teacher, in consultation with Class Teachers and Administration.
- STEM Leaders selected by STEM Teacher, in consultation with Class Teachers and Administration.
- PBL Leaders selected by Principal
