Park Ridge State School is a BYO Apple iPad school. All students from Prep to Year 6 are encouraged to bring an Apple
iPad every day. iPad technology will support our students’ learning with improved outcomes in learning engagement,
learning productivity, home school partnerships, academic results and students’ skill set. The Apple branded iPads have
proved to be a very useful tool to support student learning and are the only BYO device allowed at Park Ridge State
School.
Device:
If you are purchasing a new iPad, we recommend the latest model available. The JB HiFi Parent Portal will always be
updated with the latest model. We recommend an Apple device with at least 32gb storage (all storage versions 32gb and
above are supported in the BYO iPad program at Park Ridge SS). Please ensure that all devices are updated to the latest
iOS. Students must provide their own headphones, a suitable case and a screen protector. We do not recommend an iPad
mini.

JB Hi-Fi and The School Locker have partnered with our school to provide competitive pricing for BYOD devices. School Locker also have an Apple
Authorised Service Provider in-store.
